(S29 - N31 is zone of geoeffectiveness) THE SUNSPOT-FORMING SOLAR ACTIVITY REMAINED ON MIDDLE LEVEL. ES- TIMATED, MOST LIKELY WEEKLY AVERAGE VALUE OF THE SUNSPOT NUMBER IN THE INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM (old) FOR PERIOD W = 32+18/-10 (Wn= 53+29/-16). ON THE VISIBLE DISK OF THE SUN ONE LARGE (FIRST IN THE CURRENT CYCLE) AND FOUR MINOR SUNSPOT GROUPS WERE OBSERVED. THE LARGE AND 2 MINOR SUNSPOT GROUPS FORMED A COMPLEX OF ACTIVE REGIONS IN COORDINATES (S23-S16, L359-L349). NEXT WEEK THE LEVEL OF SUNSPOT ACTIVITY WAS MIDDLE. LIKELY WEEK- LY AVERAGE VALUE OF THE RELATIVE SUNSPOT NUMBER IN THE INTERNA- TIONAL SYSTEM (old) FOR NEXT WEEK IS W=040+20/-20. FLARE ACTIVITY WAS AT MIDDLE, LOW AND VERY LOW LEVELS.
